Painting the American Scene has fascinated Anne Bell Robb for two decades. It has taken her across the country from her home in New England to South Carolina, Virginia, Michigan, and Texas. She has painted the homes of our Presidents, our historic sites, our farms, our gardens and cottages by the sea. In all of it rests an underlying theme of pride in the place called home. The open spaces of our landscape, the marsh grass and the meadowlands recall an earlier time but remind us that much has been preserved. The portraits of America by Anne Bell Robb freshen our appreciation of the vast beauty that is our heritage.
